  • Bachelor of Business Administration

    The educational program is designed to provide a competitive graduate to the local and international labor market, In the field of Accounting / Marketing / Management / Finance, using the theoretical and methodological knowledge of the field, practical skills, in accordance to the ethical norms of business environment.

    After a successful completion of the course student is able to:

    • Conduct business activities in accordance with the current dynamics of business environment;
    • Manage the financial activities of the organization's structural unit; Establishes effective ways of lending and financing, financial resource planning and management.
    • Prepares information about the expenses and financial statements, analyzes the results of the firm's performance.
    • Manages the workplace and takes part in the organizations strategic planning and implementation of the operations.
    • Reveals marketing opportunities for business development of the firm and participates in distribution, internet marketing, advertising and advancement in new markets
    • Formulates its views on important issues for business administration in written and verbal form for specialists (and non-specialists), using modern computer technologies, and general and professional ethical norms.

    The tourism educational program is designed to provide local and international labor markets with highly qualified and highly competent specialists with relevant education in the field of economics and business management. Graduates will have the knowledge, skills and competences required for successful work in business. Their activities will promote the development of business (tourism) in Georgia and abroad and promote the construction of an open, democratic society.

    After a successful completion of the course student will be able to:

    • Be oriented on tourism development in Georgia
    • Assesses the tourism potential of Georgia
    • Participate in planning of the tourism product, calculating the cost of the tourism product and determining prices.
    • Analyzes and evaluates international tourist-resource potential

  • Transport and Logistics Management

    The educational program is designed to provide local and international labor markets with highly qualified and competent specialists with relevant education in the field of transport logistics management who have the knowledge, skills and competences required for successful work in logistics. Their activities will promote the development of transport services in Georgia.

    After a successful completion of the course student will be able to:

    • Describe methods of management of transportation processes taking into consideration the operational and technical characteristics of existing types of transport;
    • Maintain the organization and management of the transportation processes in accordance with the type of cargo, taking into consideration the specific types of transport, route and other parameters; Providing information on the field of transport;
    • Reveal marketing opportunities for the development of the firm's activities and participates in the distribution of the supply chain;
    • Conduct marketing and managerial processes in transport and industrial firms;
    • Ensure the continuity of the transport process through the reduction of the electricity due to technical reasons of the rolling stock
    • On the basis of qualified analysis, it is based on the principles of ethical norms for the use of modern computer technologies for their expertise in writing and verbal formalities (and non-specialists) on important issues of management of logistical processes;
    • Participate in establishing the necessary general and professional value in the transport industry; Respects the colleagues' work and strictly adheres to ethical norms in human relations.

  • Bachelor in Law

    Degree in Bachelor of Law is the first level of academic higher education, which is oriented to prepare a competitive and qualified lawyer in the market with all necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Implementation of the program is provided by highly qualified staff. Components provided by the educational program are led by university academic personnel, invited staff with appropriate experience and competencies.

    The purpose program is to equip students with the basic peculiarities of the national legal system, theories, institutions, procedural norms, basic principles and values ​​of the law. After the successful completion of the course the student should be able to use the theoretical knowledge effectively in practice; do the analysis of legal issues, solve legal problems and justify the position; have an ability to keep track of current changes in legislation, recent judicial practice, attention to the latest scientific achievements and the ability to defend social and democratic values.

  • Bachelor of English Philology

    English Philology is a Bachelor's program where the students obtain professional qualifications allowing them to work in all areas where philological knowledge is required: teachers of English in the secondary school, research fellows in scientific institutions, journalists in the press and the electronic mass media, translators in the business sphere and the state administration, translators and editors in publishing houses.

    The BA Degree program involves a four-year training that includes acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the areas of the historical and present state of the English language and literature . The aim of this program is to provide students with knowledge in literary theory, English linguistics, and the history of literature, and to prepare them for independent research through optional subjects and degree tutorials.

    Students enrolled in the Bachelors degree in English Philology also study courses in English literature, culture, language, and linguistics. Practical English courses are included to raise students' language skills to proficiency. Some of the modules taught at the course include:

    • Descriptive Grammar of English

    Upon completion of the Bachelors degree in English Philology, graduates are well-prepared to continue their education toward a Masters degree in English or enter the professional realm within a wide variety of English-related professions, such as journalism, teaching, or work for a government agency.

  • Bachelor of Science in Journalism

    This program enables students to choose a career from various stages of media production. With an emphasis on the social and cultural impact of various media forms, this program examines the technologies, practices and policies that drive modern media communications. It equips students with the skills, understanding and professionalism required for a career in the media industry.

    Students are taught by journalists with many years experience in print, radio and television. Will learn the professional aspects of journalism practice, the history and economics of the media, social and ethical issues, together with a theoretical understanding of media law and regulation.

    This course is specifically designed to establish a strong foundation which would enable the students to develop a deeper understanding of communication. The format of the course is designed in such a way that would further help the students to develop an ability to choose their area of specialization in their desired field.

  • International Relations

    This dynamic program focuses on current international topics and issues, covering the fields of political theory, international relations theory, foreign policy, strategic studies and political history.

    Students will explore national and regional security in broad contexts, including military, politics and economics. Political and regional globalization is explored in-depth. Issues of trade, environmental change, resource management and human rights are few of the topics students will study.

    Upon successful completion of the course graduates will be able to: Identify the principal theoretical approaches to the study of international relations, and the relationships between them; Have a thorough understanding of the historical development of the global system; Demonstrate an understanding of the principal actors in contemporary global politics and the challenges they face; Understand the principal factors that determine the foreign policies of major powers; Reflect critically on the knowledge and skills developed in their study of International Relations.

  • Medicine

    Educational Program of Stomatology is focused on ensuring gaining of the competencies, necessary for the doctor in medicine, implementation of which is possible based on the synthesis of knowledge and practical skills acquired through learning of the program’s various components in accordance with the national framework of a higher education qualification. The program structure is in line with the labor market requirements for the Medical Doctor. The Medical Doctor is prepared through the field learning components, the program offers students opportunity to obtain the knowledge in general competencies. The program also includes the university training courses (mandatory and optional), contributing to the activities of the Medical Doctor. Components of the program for Medical Doctor is aimed at achieving the objectives of the program and formation of the competent Medical Doctor as a result of studies.

    Admission Criteria
    Admission is based on the results of the unified national exams for Georgian nationals, as well as foreign citizen compliance with other rules established by law of Georgia. As part of the admission process foreign citizens are tested in English language through recorded skype interview and also tested in natural sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) in which the person has to overcome a minimum competency level.

    Program objectives and learning outcomes in the courses are achieved through the lectures (classical and interactive), group work, practical sessions, as well as the student's independent work.

    The lectures are focused on the outlining of the basic provisions of the discussion topics, formulation of substantiated issues and their critical analysis. Group work / practice sessions are intended to deepen the knowledge acquired at the lectures and their practical application. In the teaching and learning process both verbal and written methods are used, students working in groups and individually.

  • Dentistry

    Educational Program of Stomatology is focused on ensuring gaining of the competencies, necessary for the doctor in dentistry, implementation of which is possible based on the synthesis of knowledge and practical skills acquired through learning of the program’s various components in accordance with the national framework of a higher education qualification. The program offers students opportunity to obtain the knowledge in general competencies and gain practical skills. The program also includes the university training courses (mandatory and elective), contributing to the doctor in stomatology course. Components of the program aims at achieving the objectives of the program and formation of the competent doctor of stomatology as a result of studies.
